The "Kinderschutzzentrum" (child protection center) is a private organisation foundet in 1987. The main focus: protection and assistance in the case of violence ore sexual abuse. We give advice and treatment to 1.200 clients a year. The operative team (17 employees): Psychologists, psychotherapists, social educationalists, social worker.
We help quick, anonym and free of charge. We are the first contact person and person of trust for the victims and their families. We clarify the facts and advice, what further steps are necessary and useful. We build a protection - in many cases in cooperation with the public youth welfare. We clarify the facts and advice, what further steps are necessary and useful. We build a protection - in many cases in cooperation with the public youth welfare. We stabilize the victims an we support the victims and their families in the reprosessing of the experienced (psycological advice and treatment, psychotherapy). All our intervention-work is secondary prevention: We stop abuse and violence, we avoid more abuse and violence. On the other hand we do a lot of activities in primary prevention to stop ore avoid sexual abuse against children.
