DIMOS FARSALON

Farsala is the seat of the municipality of Farsala and the capital of the homonymous province.The municipality of Farsala was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 4 former municipalities, that became municipal units: Enipeas, Farsala, Narthaki, Polydamantas. In terms of administrative division, Farsala belongs to the Prefecture of Larissa. Nowadays, it is a modern and dynamic small market town of 10,000 inhabitants of the Prefecture of Larissa, on the borderline between Larissa and the Prefecture of Fthiotida.
